It may feel like many of us are in quarantine today with these treacherous road conditions and limited activities. However, I know that quarantines are no light matter when considering their effect on our kids. A lot has changed over the past 8 weeks in regards to quarantine guidance, and it's been challenging for us to continually clarify those updates with everyone involved in our school community. I have attached a memo that I hope will bring clarity to the current guidance we are following in Seneca County. Reminder to 9th/JV/Varsity Boys Basketball parents- the game tomorrow at Margaretta will clear the gym after each game and you will need your voucher to buy a ticket to get into each game. Each ticket is $3 .

Old Fort Students are geared up to take on the Great Kindness Challenge next week!
The world can use some extra kindness right now and Old Fort Elementary is going to deliver! Our School will participate in the 10th annual Great Kindness Challenge the week of January 25 - 29, 2021 and they enthusiastically invite our entire community to join in and cheer them on!!! #kindnessmatters
While the excitement of The Great Kindness Challenge is enormous, it is the simple acts of kindness that prove to be the biggest hit. Some of the items on the checklist are: wave at 25 people, help your teacher with a needed task, read a book to a younger student and safely sit with a new group of kids at lunch. Big or small, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Junior High Boys BB game scheduled at Danbury for tomorrow, 1/23, will be an 8th grade only game. The game will start at 10 AM.
