The boys basketball season came to an end last night at BGSU. The boys battled hard, but fell short - but by no means was this a disappointing season. The team accomplished many things during the season, including the following: - First district championship since 2002, climbing and conquering the tough-SBC mountain of New Riegel, Calvert, and Hopewell-Loudon (in that order to win the District) - Tied for second in an extremely competitive conference - Four boys with all-district and all-conference honors - 44 points in a quarter which was record breaking for Old Fort and a top-10 start in OHSAA boys basketball history - One of the remaining 16 teams in Div. IV basketball in the state of Ohio The 6 seniors will leave an everlasting mark on Old Fort Basketball history. The incoming classes and current players will be ready for another amazing run next season! #GoKaders

UPDATE FOR TOMORROW: There will be an Old Fort Boys Basketball send off tomorrow at 5:00 PM when the bus leaves the school. Please line yourselves and your cars up along Township Road 73 (through Old Fort) and down County Road 40 as they make their way to 53 and onto the Stroh Center. Be there, and be loud for our boys as they head off to the Regional Semi-Final! #GoKaders

ATHLETICS UPDATE: The Spring OHSAA meeting is being moved back to March 17th due to the amazing run that the Old Fort basketball team is making. Don't worry folks - this is a great problem to have. We will meet that night at 6:00 PM. #GoKaders

Additional Updates for Tuesday night's basketball game: - Please do not park across from the street at BDubs/Gas Station/Verizon. You will be towed by local towing services. - Fans will plan to enter at the south gate (closest to Wooster Street). #GoKaders

Spirit bus for Tuesday will be 7-12!

Here is some information regarding Tuesday's Regional Semi-Final game vs. LCC at BGSU (8:00 PM tip) from the Old Fort Athletic Department: - Tuesday night's game will be a split session. If you leave Stroh Center during the Old Fort game, you will have to pay to re-enter. Tuesday night is also online tickets only. There will be NO CASH SALES AT THE GATE. Please plan ahead by purchasing tickets on https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets - this is the only place that you can buy tickets. Old Fort schools will NOT be selling tickets ahead of Tuesday night's game. - Upon arrival to the Stroh Arena, parking will be $5. There will be 1300 spots available. - Old Fort will be the HOME TEAM. The theme for this game is a WHITE OUT, so please plan accordingly! - Signs, banners, fatheads, and noisemakers are NOT PERMITTED. - The student section will be located in sections 108-110. - Gates for the Old Fort vs. LCC game will open at 7:00. Also - please plan for another student spirit bus. The capacity will be at 40 kids again, and yes - the bus is FREE again, with FREE entry into the game. The spirit bus will leave from Old Fort at 6:30 PM. You may start signing up by emailing Mr. Ayers at mayers@oldfortschools.org, or by talking to him on Monday. Sign ups will stop on Tuesday at noon. Last piece of information. Starting on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, the Old Fort Athletic Department will be selling white SWEET 16 t-shirts at the school for $15. If you would like one, please email Mr. Ayers and reserve a size, or buy with cash on Tuesday. There are limited sizes and shirts (100 shirts) so please act quickly! We are excited for another fun night - we need the same atmosphere that we had on Saturday, if not more! #GoKaders

Let's give it up for senior guard Isiah Perez. In the biggest game of the season, Isiah showed up in the biggest way. Marking a new season high of 28 points and knocking down clutch shot after clutch shot. He was Heart of Ohio player of the game tonight! Isiah made Old Fort very proud tonight! #GoKaders

Stockaders. THAT’S WHO! Old Fort wins their first district title in 22 years. Isiah Perez leads the way with a season high 28 points! Next up - LCC at BGSU on Tuesday in the Regional Semi-Final. #GoKaders

Dental Bus Visit!

Update: The Athletic Department will cover the bus fee of $3 for each kid. 7-12 kids get to ride the bus and get into Friday's basketball game FOR FREE! We need students there to be loud and have fun! #GoKaders

Athletics Update! This Friday we will offer a spirit bus for students in grades 7-12. Bus will leave from the HS entrance at 5:45. It is $3 to ride and your ticket will be covered by the Old Fort Athletic Department. First 40 to sign up get to ride on the bus - must ride back on the school bus. Sign up with Mr. Ayers with your $3 before Friday at 10:00 AM! #GoKaders

Friday night's boys' basketball District Final is being moved to 7:00 PM instead of 6:00 PM. Gates at Liberty-Benton High School will open an hour before the tip (6:00 PM) Be there and be loud!
