For this Friday's basketball game against Hopewell-Loudon, we will recognize the following athletes for their accomplishments during their volleyball careers at Old Fort. Taylor Conn, Peyton Miller, Alli Adelsperger, Jordan Magers, and Grace Wasserman. 4 of the 5 will earn a volleyball jersey on the wall Friday night, with Jordan Magers' ceremony being in the fall of 2024. In bowling action last night, the boys were able to rebound from their match on Saturday with a near 200 pin victory. They were led by senior Mitchell Smith with a 373. The girls fought hard, but ended up losing a close one. They were led by junior Mika Steyer with a 345.

Saturday morning treated our JH basketball teams nicely. Both 7th and 8th grade boys picked up a win, and both 7th and 8th grade girls won to complete the sweep. 7th grade boys won 41-15 (Cody Adelsperger - 16 points), 8th grade boys won 32-28 (Kayden Carnicom - 8 points), 7th grade girls won 35-14 (Ally Quaintance - 15 points), and 8th grade girls won to remain undefeated 49-28 (Adelyn Dick - 19 points).
You can catch them back in action tonight as they take on Hopewell-Loudon. Boys are at home, and girls are at HL - both set for 7th grade tip-off at 5:00 PM.

Congratulations to our boys basketball team for making history in their basketball game last night. The boys scored 44 points in the first quarter, which marks as the 6th highest in OHSAA history, and is the highest point total in a quarter since 1956!

Last night, both girls bowling fought hard against Columbian, but fell short. Leading the girls was Gabby Perez who scored a 305. The boys started down over 100 pins, but roared back for a nice win. Leading the boys was Maverick Perez who scored a PR at 364. Carter Riehm also set a new PR with a 183.

JH basketball enjoyed another sweep with four wins over Gibsonburg last night. 7th grade boys won 33-27 (Roman Miller - 15 points), 8th grade boys won 27-25 (Kole Turner/Trevor Gillmor - 7 points each), 7th grade girls won 27-15 (Ally Quaintance - 13 points), and 8th grade girls won 45-22 (Carly Fortney - 13 points).
